During the Summit
Hospitality Desk & Contact Numbers

Moxa will have a hospitality desk set up in the hotel lobby from 7:00 to 20:00 every day starting September 17.

 

Please visit the hospitality desk or call the hospitality phone if you have any questions or need assistance during the summit.

 

  • If you wish to change a planned leisure trip, please make all changes at the hospitality desk by 20:00 on September 17.
  • If you are unable to attend a scheduled leisure trip or evening event, please inform us beforehand as Moxa staff will need to know how many people will attend each activity.
  • If you wish to attend the Open Dinner (free and optional, but no special events planned) on September 19, please sign up at the hospitality desk by 20:00 on September 17.
Wireless Internet Access
  • Moxa will set up a WLAN during the conference hours for everyone to use free of charge. The WLAN will be available in the hotel lobby and in the meeting rooms.
Foreign Currency Exchange
  • The hotel can change foreign currency into Euros. There is also an ATM available in the hotel.
Hotel Accommodations
  • Moxa will cover the expense of two rooms and meals at the Hotel Beatriz from Sept. 16-19 for at most four attendees from each company. Attendees can pay the difference to upgrade to a different room arrangement.
  • Rate | Single room: Euro 123,00 incl. breakf.
    Double room: Euro 168,00 incl. breakf.

*Business Casual: For Men- Nice slacks with formal business shirt and comfortable shoes.

Airfare
  • Airfare is the responsibility of the attendee.
Bringing your spouse and/or children
  • Moxa will cover the expense of two rooms and meals at the Hotel Beatriz from Sept. 16-19 for at most four attendees from each company. Attendees can pay the difference for room upgrades and for the expense incurred to house family members. We will provide special tours for spouses.

Note that we do not provide babysitting services. Please make sure that your children are looked after while you are out of the room.

Requirement for staying few more days
Cancellation fee
  • To avoid incurring a cancellation fee, please inform us at least three days in advance if you will need to cancel your trip to Málaga.
Cost of leisure activities and optional items
Moxa will cover the cost of 4 nights at Hotel Beatriz for a maximum of 4 people in 2 double rooms (arriving on September 16 and departing on September 20) and official programs for summit attendees and their guests.

  • Official Activities: The official program events and planned leisure activities are included in the agenda for the four day summit. Drinks and food will only be covered by Moxa during official program events and planned leisure activities.

  • Optional Items: Summit attendees and their guests must pay for optional items, including room service, phone calls, mini-bar, extra drinks at meals and after dinner, spa service, golf course, etc.
Shuttle service
  • Moxa will provide a shuttle service from Málaga Airport to Hotel Beatriz Resort on September 16. (Map and Transportations to Hotel Beatriz)
  • Shuttle buses will depart for the airport every hour on the hour on September 20.
    The bus trip from the hotel to the airport takes approximately 30 minutes.
To make your visa interview as smooth as possible.
  • Request a letter of invitation from Moxa.
    The sooner you request your letter of invitation the better. With recent changes in the immigration laws, it may take longer to apply for a temporary visa.

  • Schedule an appointment with your embassy as soon as you receive your visa letter.
    Please make sure you have your letter available for your interview.

  • Research application fees.
    Find out what fees are required and how you can pay them.
  • Photographs must be current and taken within the past 6 months.
    Make sure you include a clear photograph on white or off-white background. The photo should measure 2 by 2 inches (roughly a 50 mm square) with the head centered in the frame.

  • Fully complete all official documents.
    Answer all questions completely. Do not use "n.a." ,"Not applicable" in your forms. If the answer is in the negative, use "no", "nil", or "none".

  • Show proof of "strong ties" that bind you to your country of residence.
    Ties are the various aspects of your life that bind you to your country of residence: your possessions, employment, social and family relationships.

  • If you have previously traveled to the Spain, show proof that you returned within the timeframe you stated.
    For example, use an airline ticket stub/boarding pass that shows your return flight or meeting materials show you attended a business conference.

  • With your application, include any materials Moxa may have sent you.
    Include with your application any printed conference materials you receive from Moxa to prove that the event is a legitimate business event.

  • Travel with an official embassy delegation.
    Traveling with a delegation organized by your local embassy will improve your chances of receiving visa approval. Many embassies organize official delegations through their commercial sections. If you are interested in joining a delegation, contact your local Embassy and ask if the commercial trade specialist is organizing a delegation.
